“No one can replace Salman Khan”: David Dhawan on ‘Judwaa 2’

David Dhawan has directed Salman Khan in hits like “Partner” “Biwi No 1” and “Judwaa” and the filmmaker says no one can ever replace the superstar.

David Dhawan returns to direct with the sequel to comedy film ‘Judwaa’ (1997) but this time instead of Salman Khan, son, Varun Dhawan is taking the lead.

However, talking about Dhawan Junior taking reigns in the project, David says that Khan is irreplaceable. Talking to Mid-Day, David said, “There is one Salman Khan (and) there is no replacement. He is an unpredictable actor…You don’t know what he will do. Once the camera is on he is something else only.”

He added, “We have made changes to the original story. We can’t share details.” Talking about the film’s songs, he said, “We have two songs with us ‘Chaltih Hai Kya Nau Seh Barah’ and ‘Oonchi Hai Building’.”

It also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu and releases on 29th September 2017.
