Dharmadurai director titles his next film Mamanithan

In 2016, director Seenu Ramasamy delivered a hit with the film Dharmadurai which was titled after a 90's Rajinikanth movie of the same name. Now, the 5 film old director has again chosen a title after a movie from the 90s, Mamanithan for his next project. Released in 1995, Mamanithan starred Napolean and Vineetha in lead roles and is relatively a lesser-known film. It is to be noted here that post the release of Dharmadurai, speculations were rife about the director looking out for a PAN Indian actor for his next script-in-line. Mollywood actor Mammooty was also said to have been approached for that script. And since an official announcement on the cast and crew of Mamanithan is awaited from the director, one cannot help but wonder if Mammooty could turn out be in the lead cast of this recently announced project.
