Dhanush receives complete script of Maari 2

Director Balaji Mohan who delivered a hit with Maari has finalised a script for the sequel to the film. Titled Maari 2, the movie will have Dhanush reprising his role of the titular character. The news was confirmed by the lead actor who shared a picture of the final script on his social media page. While the earlier film was a joint production of Listin Stephen, Magic Frames and Wunderbar Films, it has not yet been officially announced as to who would bankroll the project. An official annnouncement on the rest of the cast and crew is also awaited.
