Kajol makes a comeback in Tamil with Dhanush's Vip2

The team of VIP 2 recently began their film with a pooja and the blessings of Rajinikanth and his wife. Now Bollywood's iconic actress Kajol who was earlier speculated to be a part of the film, has confirmed her presence in the movie by sharing a picture from the first day of photoshoot. She is seen with the lead actor cum producer of the film Dhanush and director Soundarya Rajinikanth. With this film, the leading lady who stole many a heart in Rajiv Menon's Minsara Kanavu, will be returning to Kollywood after a gap of 19 years. Nevertheless, her presence in the movie has just made it bigger and has also raised the anticipation of what role she might be essaying.

With Sean Roldan for the music, VIP 2 is the sequel to Dhanush's earlier movie Vellai Illa Pattadhaari and has almost the entire cast repeated in the sequel as well.
