Dear Zindagi is Gauri Shinde’s second film after Sridevi starrer English Vinglish. The movie starring Shah Rukh Khan,  Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar and Angad Bedi. The film earned rave reviews from the critics as well as the audience. The film has done good business at the Box Office in its opening weekend. The film witnessed massive growth in its earning over Saturday and Sunday. The film mints 32.5 crore in its opening weekend,

Dear Zindagi was the only big release last Friday and in spite of the issues of demonetisation, the film has dominated the box office over the weekend.

This is Alia’s third release of the year after Kapoor & Sons and Udta Punjab. She won a lot of accolades for Udta Punjab as well. 2016 has treated Alia Bhatt with immense fame and appreciation- and justifiably so.

The film has done good business at the overseas market as well and collected Rs. 27.45 cr in its opening weekend.
