Tahir Bhasin joins Alia Bhatt's Dear Zindagi

The makers of Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Dear Zindagi’ is all set for a cast reshuffle. This is all due to a ban imposed on Pakistani actors. ‘Dear Zindagi’ makers are replacing Pakistan actor Ali Zafar with Tahir Raj Bhasin.

According to DNA India, a source mentioned, “Ali Zafar has already been replaced in the film and he has been replaced with Tahir Bhasin, Rani Mukerji’s nemesis from ‘Mardaani’.”

The source continued, “A dance shoot was underway of the film with Alia Bhatt and Tahir. It’s an Arijit Singh number”.  It looks like Ali Zafar has lost out due to the ban along with the debut of his brother Danyal who was set to work with Karan Johar’s production house also.  But, this film has felt the hurt also, where Fawad Khan and Katrina Kaif were to lead.

Dear Zindagi is Gauri Shinde’s second film after Sridevi starrer English Vinglish. The movie starring Shah Rukh Khan,  Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar and Angad Bedi. Music by Amit Trivedi. 

The film, produced by Gauri Khan, Karan Johar and R Balki under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions and Hope Productions.Dear Zindagi is scheduled for release on November 25.
