Why Studio Green interested in Kamal's Vishwaroopam?

Last week, Studio Green's GnanavelRaja is reported to have met with Kamal Haasan to discuss the possibility of buying Vishwaroopam's TN distribution rights. After Aascar, UTV and Eros deciding to back-out after initial rounds of negotiations, Studio Green is the new distributor re-opening the negotiation with Kamal Haasan. 

Is Studio Green scripting a clash against Thuppakki?

Sources close to the matter claim that Studio Green's Gnanavel Raja is secretly scripting a clash between Vishwaroopam and Thuppakki on Diwali day. Kamal Haasan has shown interest in this option as long as Studio Green is willing to pay the quoted price for the rights. But, getting a simultaneous release date for Hindi version(Viswaroop) is still a challenge because of Shah Rukh Khan's starrer also planning all India wide release on Diwali. Meanwhile, Vishwaroopam team is still insisting that the movie will release in October.
