Amala Paul is the heroine of Thiruttu Payale 2 

Director Susi Ganesan is making a comeback with a sequel to his 2006 erotic thriller, Thiruttu Payale. Titled Thiruttu Payalae 2, the movie is all set to be produced by AGS Entertainment and has Amala Paul playing a pivotal role. Speaking on her casting, the director was quoted saying that the choice was made as Paul is a powerful performer and would look formidable when pitted against Bobby Simha, the lead and Prasanna, the villain. The plot of Thiruttu Payale 2 is said to revolve around the characters of these three actors.

Just like the first part, the movie is expected to be shot predominantly in foreign locales. This second part of Thiruttu Payalae also marks the return of Susi Ganesan to Kollywood after 8 years.
