Rajnikanth's Kochadaiyaan Hot Updates  

Kochadaiyaan is currently busy progressing in 3 countries and has come to the final stage. We received key updates from sources part of the Kochadaiyaan team currently working on the post-production in Mumbai. 

Kochadaiyaan is on track to release on the Rajni's birthday uniquely falling this year on 12/12/12. The movie will release in 4 languages - Tamil,Telugu, Hindi and Japanese. Currently, the film running time is estimated to be 174 minutes. After final edit, the running time is expected to change.

EROS has planned to market the movie coming up with blitzkrieg ideas (phones, comics, video games, etc.). The audio with AR Rahman's music is slated to release in Tokyo around the last week of October preceded by full-fledged promotions following Dussehra which falls on October 24th.

The team is planning to make it the biggest release in India with more than 3500+ prints(all versions combined), highest for any Indian movie.(EK Tha tiger released in 3000 prints). Out of that 800 prints will be 3D and remaining in 2D. Movie will have premiere shows on Dec 11 in Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi.

Technicians who worked in the film are confident and expressed that Kochadaiyaan is India's answer to Avatar. Fans are eager to watch Superstar on big screen after health scare last year. Hope Kochadaiyaan elevates Tamil Cinema to higher level.
