Pawan Kalyan to act under Jilla's director in the remake of Vedalam

Producer AM Rathnam is remaking his Tamil blockbuster Vedalam in Telugu and the movie was officially launched with a low-key pooja. Seen at the pooja were the lead actor Pawan Kalyan, the director of this yet untitled Telugu remake, RT Nesan (who had earlier directed Vijay in the Kollywood flick Jilla) and a few other members from the technical team. Interestingly, the movie launch took place on the same day as the actor debuted in the industry 20 years ago which aslo happened to be the auspicious occasion of Dusshera. 

This project will be the star's second with AM Rathnam after his 2001 hit Kushi. The movie's shooting is expected to begin early next year with no announcement on the rest of the cast and crew yet. It is to be noted that Pawan Kalyan's current project Katama Rayudu is also a remake of an Ajith starrer Tamil film (Veeram).
