Rajinikanth wishes success for Akshay Kumar's Rustom

Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, will share screen space for the first time in the sequel to Robot (2010). The movie is directed by Shankar, 2.0 is expected to theatres in 2017.

Rustom stars Akshay Kumar as Naval officer Rustom Pavri who is being questioned to be a traitor. The film also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta in key roles. The Tinu Suresh Desai film is slated to release on 12th August and will be clashing with Hrithik Roshan starrer Mohenjo Daro.
