Sivakarthikeyan's Remo is red hot in the trade

That Sivakarthikeyan has become a very successful and a bankable star is a known fact. However, with his latest film Remo, produced by 24AM studios, he had gone a notch higher as the distributors are willing to purchase the rights of the film on Minimum Guarantee (MG) basis, which is a first for Sivakarthikeyan. At a time when the distributors are avoiding Minimum Guarantee equation even for biggies involving the top 4 heroes, this move by them has raised the eyebrows of trade experts.

Right from announcing the cast of the film to openly declaring about the film's business, 24AM Studios are innovatively marketing the film and going by the teaser of the film, it looks like a sure-shot hit. Directed by Bhagyaraj Kannan, the movie has a strong technical team including music director Anirudh and cinematographer PC Sreeram. The movie is all set to hit the screens on October 7.

The Coimbatore theatrical rights are bagged by Tiruppur Subramaniam for Rs 5 crore, while the Trichy & Tanjore (TT) rights are bagged by Francis Adaikalraj for Rs 3.5 crore. Here's a snapshot of the areas sold so far:
