Tiger Shroff-Shraddha Kapoor's 'Baaghi' Runs Into Legal Trouble
Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Baaghi has run into legal trouble courtesy the films striking similarities with the Indonesian action thriller, The Raid: Redemption.
Filmmaker Guneet Monga has sent a legal notice to Baaghi's producers Sajid Nadiadwala and Siddharth Roy Kapur claiming that her production house, Sikhiya Entertainment, has the sole remake rights of the Indonesian film and that Baaghi borrows heavily from it.
The notice was sent to Nadiadwala and Kapur over a month ago and the hearing is scheduled to take place on April 8, 2016.
Baaghi, which is slated to release on April 29, revolves around two rebellious characters Siya (Shraddha) and Ronnie (Tiger) who fall in love before Ronnie is shot and left for dead by the antagonist, who kidnaps Siya.
