Airlift crosses 50 crore mark


Airlift" has earned more than Rs 50 crore net in just four days of its box office run, while the gross collection of the film is more than Rs 70 crore. Akshay's film has hit the 50 crore mark at the domestic box office in four days. The film, which was made on a budget of approximately Rs 30 crore, has earned the production cost in just the opening weekend. The film has minted 54.70 crores in 4 days.

The film has released at approx. 2750 screens in India and that received excellent response at cinema theaters. 
The movie is directed by Raja Krishna Menon and also stars Inaamulhaq, Kumud Mishra, Prakash in the lead. The film is produced by T-Series.
 
Given that today is a National Holiday on account of Republic Day, Airlift will get a massive jump in its collections. And going by its performance at the ticket window, the movie is sure to create records for Akshay Kumar by collecting highest amount in Week 1 of release, beating Rowdy Rathore.
