Ajay Devgn will play Aditya Roy Kapur's Godfather in 'Fitoor'

The Drishyam actor Ajay Devgn who is playing a cameo in Fitoor will apparently portray the character of Aditya Roy Kapur’s Godfather in the film which is similar to what Robert De Niro had essayed in 1998′s Hollywood flick ‘Great Expectations’.

A source from the production of the film revealed to a leading daily that Ajay Devgn plays Aditya’s godfather in the film. Aditya plays a painter and Ajay comes at a juncture where Aditya needs him. Ajay’s character is more like a godfather to Aditya who buys all his paintings. This character was played by Robert De Niro in 1998′s ‘Great Expectations’.

‘Fitoor‘ will be the second movie where Ajay and Aditya will share the screen. The two have previously worked together in ‘London Dreams’. ‘Fitoor‘ also stars Katrina Kaif and Tabu in pivotal and is set to hit the screens on 12th February 2016.
