Prem Ratan Dhan Payo Opening Day Box Office Collection

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is doing very good business at the Box office.  The film now holds the record for the highest opening day.  The film earned Rs 40.35 crore on Thursday, which surpasses the Rs. 27.25 crore that Bajrangi Bhaijaan collected on the first day by a big margin.  The film received mixed response from the audience.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the box office collection of the film, calling it an "outstanding start."

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which brought Salman and Sooraj together after a gap of 16 years, was released in more than 4500 screens in India. Salman is back as Barjatya's quintessential hero Prem in the family entertainer and the actor is happy that filmmaker Sooraj has tried to bring back the innocence in his latest release.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo features Salman Khan Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Armaan Kohli in the lead roles is directed by Sooraj Barjatya. The movie is produced by Rajshri Productions and Fox Star Studios.
