Gautham Vasudev Menon to star in a Malayalam film

Director Gautham Vasudev Menon who is well known for directing classy movies like Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya and Vaaranam Aayiram, is all set to turn an actor. The director will be playing one of the lead roles in Vineeth Srinivasan's upcoming Malayalam movie Jacobinte Swargarajyam. Though the director was earlier seen in cameo roles, this would be his first full fledged role. 

Actor and Director Vineeth Srinivasan has confirmed this news on his official Facebook page. The movie stars Nivin Pauly in the lead role along with Renji Panicker, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sai Kumar and Lakshmi Ramakrishnan. The movie will be written and directed by Vineeth Srinivasan. The movie will be produced by Noble Babu Thomas.
