Paayum Puli Preview - Will the tiger's pounce be powerful?

Vishal's first two films as cop; Sathyam and Vedi turned out to be mediocre films with very few hair-raising moments. However, he will be seen as a cop once again in Paayum Pauli, which is directed by Suseenthiran.Check out what to expect from the film, which is all set to hit the screens on September 4.

Vishal - Suseenthiran combination

The biggest USP of the film is the combination of Vishal and Suseenthiran. Importantly, Suseenthiran's Pandiya Nadu is still rated as one of the best films in Vishal's career. It is safe to state that Suseenthiran is one of the very few directors who have tapped Vishal's potential. We will have to wait and see if they repeat the magic.

Vishal needs to break the jinx

While attempting to please the masses, Vishal's last few script selections (Poojai, Aambala) have been pretty monotonous. Vishal needs to rediscover himself, and this might just be the right film to create the spark for him.

Inspired from real-life

Touted to be loosely based on the real-life incidences of a sub-inspector, Paayum Puli is expected to be racy as well as believable. Suseenthiran is known for his down-to-earth approach, that strikes a chord with the audience.

Cast and Crew

Kajal Agarwal has been paired up with Vishal for the first time, while Samuthirakani and Aishwarya Dutta play pivotal roles. Imman has scored music for the film, while Velraj has handled the camera.

Final Words

Paayum Puli has created huge expectations before its release, and if they are met, the movie should be another memorable cop film in Tamil. We will be back with FDFS review.
