Thug Life starring Kamal Haasan in the lead is an upcoming action drama co-written and directed by Mani Ratnam. Shooting of this movie is currently taking place in and around India's capital city Delhi, and it has now been revealed that along with Kamal Haasan and Silambarasan TR, two Bollywood actors are also part of this ongoing schedule. 

Actors Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal, the duo who famously played leads in the action crime OTT series Mirzapur (Amazon Prime Video), are reportedly part of Thug Life. While Pankaj Tripathi is a highly paid character artiste in Bollywood, Ali Fazal, famous for his 3 Idiots (2009) cameo is a sought-after Indian actor in Hollywood/overseas productions*.

Thug Life is a joint production venture of Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI), Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies, and Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. The movie has AR Rahman for music, and also stars Trisha Krishnan, Gautham Karthik, Abhirami, Nassar, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, among others.
