Vijay's statement on thalaiva issue

 Ilayathalapathy Vijay reached out to the fans through a recorded video. The fans were shocked to see the self-assured Vijay looking visibly shaken in this video. Vijay drove home some key points explaining the source of the delay, expressed his admiration and the good deeds of TN Chief Minister, requested the fans to not watch Thalaivaa on piracy dvd/online prints and wait for a few more days to watch it in theatres.

It is ironical that Vijay's video shows his struggle to release Thalaivaa in Tamil Nadu on the day independent India proudly celebrates 67 years.
