Producer of Rajinikanth's 2.0 confirms Audio Launch, Release date

Raju Mahalingam of Lyca Productions who has produced the Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 at a budget of Rs. 400 crore, has revealed the dates for audio launch and release of the film in a recent interview. According to him, the earlier mention of a 3D Diwali for 2.0 fans was an indication of the fact that the team is planning a grand audio launch in Dubai in October, 2017. He also confirmed that the movie will be released during the republic day weekend of next year i.e January 26, 2017. 

The producer who has already recovered Rs. 190 crore from satellite rights and Hindi distribution rights plans to self- distribute the film through their own network in the South. Currently, Lyca is busy executing the 2.0 3D Mela, which is an event aimed at promoting the latest 3D equipments in theatre screens. It will be conducted in the first week of July, 2017 at Chennai and will be attended by bankers, theatre owners and 3D equipment manufacturers.
