Time pass.
Debutant director duo Pushkar and Gayathri, start their Oram Po on a promising note, but somewhere along the way it runs out of gas. The film is quite racy and is short at 2 hours 1 minute, but lacks a proper script. The major plus point of the film is the music of G.V Prakash. Nirav Shah has been credited as the cinematographer, but there is no Nirav touch. Overall, Oram Po just makes it to the finishing line! (more)

Oram Po entertains.
Directed by debutants Pushkar and Gayatri, the film succeeds, at least most of the time, as an entertainer. There's a cheerful spirit to the movie, which makes it endearing to watch, but the serious scenes are treated with indifference. The comedy, though good, stops short of being great. The music by G.V. Prakash is loud and appropriate to the content. (more)

Cheerful Entertainer.
Director couple, Pushkar and Gayatri make their debut with Oram Po, featuring Arya and Pooja in the lead roles. Arya looks credible but struggles to exude varied emotions demanded by various situations. His expressions are monotonous and hence tend to be boring. Pooja fits into the casual girl. A movie aimed at the youth that almost hits the Bull’s eye.
A new effort nonetheless, Oram Po is part satire, part spoof and full entertainment. It is a two-hour ride with all its bumps and swerves and unexpected curves. The movie has only a wafer thin story line but what lies between the wafers makes for all the entertainment. It is a delight to see such a fun filled film made honestly; it does have its flaws.(more)

Entertainment with a local flavour.
Oram Po brings debutant director-duo Pushkar and Gayathri's ambition alive on the silver screen. Oram Po's strength lies in its well-spun story and supporting screenplay. Arya has done a marvelous job. Pooja is very lovely, looking natural. Nirav Shah's camera weaves sheer magic, stringing the scenes into a pulsating, throbbing narrative. Oram Po has a typical local flavour. Pushkar and Gayathri have presented it with a genuine appeal, from their hearts. (more)

Fun from start to finish.
This is one of those light hearted, good natured films in which even the bad guys are lovable. The strongest points of the movie are some excellent dialogues — they’re genuinely funny and spontaneous, even when the characters are talking dirty — and the high-energy background score. Arya is terrific. Pooja looks lovely and puts in a refreshingly natural performance. John Vijay is just an absolute riot. The script isn’t perfect, but you’re guaranteed a fun ride. (more)
