An earnest attempt by the entire cast and crew to make a meaningful film about organ donation.
Mejo Joseph's music has played a vital part in the film. Although the introductory song looks unwarranted, both the songs that appear in the film are hummable. The background score fits into the scenes aptly. Cinematography by Shehnad Jalal is praise-worthy. He has done a commendable job in canning the fast paced car sequences. Careful and slick editing by Mahesh Narayanan has made it easy for audience to follow the hyperlink storytelling format. The movie's running length is less than 2 hours, which makes it a slick watch.(more)

Definitely worth a watch for its novel intent and the way it has been presented.
Mejo Joseph takes care of the music and there are a couple of songs at the start as the premise and characters are setup. His RR is mushy and dramatic as per the demands of the script. The cinematography by Shehnad Jalal shines in the accident scenes and also while covering the fast moving car on the highways of the state.(more)

CON is something different and refreshing and faithful to the original.
CON is a multi-narrative thriller that intertwines multiple stories around one particular incident. The simultaneous happening of events has been a pattern used in quite a few international films like Babel, Amores Perros and Crash among others. Here director Shaheed Kader weaves the lives of some people and succeeds in taking you along with its pace by making you hooked into its duration of just under two hours.(more)

CON Review For once, this is worthwhile alternate cinema that deserves the time audiences will give it.
Shaheed Khader shows skill and dedication in his work as the director. Not only does he make you hinge to the seats, he also makes you mull over the need for organ donors. Screenplay by Bobby-Sanjay definitely steals the limelight.(more)

This is the sort of outing Tamil cinema could use more of.
The back-and-forth-in-time narrative structure helps camouflage the inconsistencies, like the fact that the skies are sunny when it's supposed to be raining. (Also, the love story early on may have been better served by a couple of scenes instead of a choreographed song.) What's missing is the nerve-jangling tension that Hollywood routinely infuses into this kind of product, but the periodic cliffhangers keep us invested in the outcome.(more)

It is a story of human relationships, suffering and triumph. Go for it!
Not a scene is out of place and all credit goes to Bobby and Sanjay, who have done the story and screenplay. Ajayan Bala has made only minor changes to the original script to suit the Tamil audience as the movie juggles emotions, thrilling action sequences and a nail-biting suspense. It uses the hyperlink narrative structure, which unlocks several stories side-by-side at the same time even while keeping track of the primary storyline. Mahesh Narayanan on the editing table gets full marks for his work. The visuals keep us engrossed on screen, as Mejo Joseph pitches in with striking music.(more)
