Director Radha Mohan has once again proved that he can make a pucca family entertainer with characters that you can relate to. Mozhi is indeed gutsy, feel-good, real solid movie within the framework of commercial cinema. It is an entertainer with a simple straightforward story; knock out performance from the lead actors, melodious music and a glossy look. It is the simplicity of narration, the dialogues and emotions that makes Mozhi worth watching. (more)

Beauty and Joy.

Mozhi is a clean entertainer that justifies the tagline that is found in the promotional materials of the film. “It is not the expression, but the emotion.” Indeed! Jyothika steals the show. The dialogue writer Viji has done a remarkable job. Every syllable in his dialogue is sensitive and sensible. He has blended sparkling wit and subtle strength in his dialogues which is definitely a high-point of the film. Vidyasagar music is absolutely commendable. (more)

Sweet and Simple.

Mozhi is simply one of the nicest films to watch. It is a simple, pleasant and very real love story, but refreshingly avoids clichés and dripping sentiment in the ups and downs of the protagonists’ love stories. Each actor has done a brilliant job, and everyone’s role is very believable. The crown goes to Jyotika with her great performance. (more)

The story is no-nonsense and without any unnecessary frills. Strong characterization and excellent performances from the cast make this truly a remarkable film. The characters are familiar and likeable. The direction is flawless. Jyotika's performance is stunning. Vidyasagar’s musical score is pleasant and blends in seamlessly with the theme of the movie. Mozhi explores this and so many other significant themes in a light-hearted and entertaining vehicle that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and backgrounds. (more)
