Passable masala

Mirattal is just another commercial fare with comedy dominating for most parts and engages the audience in a very average manner. Santhanam as usual injects oxygen into this ordinary fare and whenever he appears on screen, he revitalizes the proceedings with his wisecracks and body language.(more)

It's almost as though director Madhesh felt compelled to direct the movie and did so, bored out of wits. Watch at your own risk. Despite its family-friendly billing, Mirattal proves to be a collection of clich�s. Despite having the comedian of the season trying desperately to enliven it, it makes you yawn.(more)

Time Pass

No extraordinary story, no unique formula, no major histrionics and yet this romantic comedy entertains and is a time pass fun ride. The story isn�t original as it is loosely based from Telugu hit Dhee, but has its good moments and brings a smile on your face as you leave the hall.(more)

run-off-the-mill entertainer

Vinay, who is desperate for a hit has given a decent performance. Sharmila Mandre fails to create any impact and she needs to really work on her acting skills. Prabhu has done his role with ease while Pradeep Rawat is too loud at times. Santhanam tries his best to help the film from falling apart, but his efforts go in vain due to a very cliched screenplay.
