Rattinam is just another love story. But it has a strange groove and melancholy that seems to go beyond the cheese and draw applause.

There�s also the usual dose of politics and family drama involved. The film should be viewed for its subtleties since there is nothing original to be done with a simple script and yet-another-love-story such as this. There are hardly any surprises but the climax is very neatly done. (more)
