Promising world-building hampered by cliches
Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is technically brilliant. Several frames by Nimish Ravi and the transitions make your jaw drop. Chaman Chakko's editing and composer Jakes Bejoy's music complemented the film's theme well. It's a worthy addition to an Indianised version of a superhero film. While the film has promising streaks of brilliance, some flaws eclipse the positives. Yet, this is a world that showcases the best of both worlds.(more)
