Comedy that forgot the comedy part
The film looks like it time-traveled from some alternate universe where comedy evolved differently, and badly. You'll spend half the runtime face-palming at jokes so outdated they feel archaeological. Plot? Good luck finding one in this cluster of random scenes masquerading as a story. Every police officer is portrayed as a bumbling, corrupt idiot, which might work if the comedy actually landed. Instead, it's just awkward watching grown adults fail this spectacularly at being funny. Vemal sleepwalks through whatever his role is supposed to be, and the rest follow his lead. At two-plus hours, this isn't just a bad sequelit's an endurance test that makes you question your life choices.(more)

Collapses under the weight of forced comedy
What was meant to be a comedy fortress ends up as a crumbling ruin, leaving the audience weary and disappointed. The climax is the biggest disappointment of the filmit leaves you in such confusion that you find yourself turning to the person next to you just to confirm, has the movie really ended?(more)
