Fails to Play to its Strengths!
The interval twist is solid, an interesting play could have been formed around that, but all we get is a typical thriller that falters with a weak backstory and a lazy display of emotions. Disappointing to see a potential material becomes a wasted opportunity.(more)

A familiar shade of dark
Unfortunately, just when the tension should tighten, one of three out-of-place songs pops up to kill the mood. They serve as lazy backstory for both Indra's romance and the killer�s motivation, a classic momentum killer in a thriller. A film that can't quite escape its own familiar traps.(more)

Vasanth Ravi's thriller is too basic to be the thriller it promised
One of the nicely done sequences in 'Indra' is the fight between his character and the killer at his home. The choreography and cinematography worked in tandem to present an intriguing sequence. 'Indra' could have been a taut thriller had it indulged in the emotions instead of barely scratching the surface.(more)
