Venkatesh and Nawazuddin deliver riveting performances in the action-packed drama
Saindhav is an intriguing attempt at blending emotional depth with action, but its execution doesn't consistently hit the mark. It has engaging moments, and serves as a testament to the evolving nature of Telugu cinema, where traditional storytelling is being melded with contemporary cinematic sensibilities.(more)

Partly engaging action drama
Saindhav has a good concept, but the narrative is underwhelming and flat for the most part. Venkateshs dashing performance and the last half an hour are the biggest assets of Saindhav. Despite having talented actors by his side, the director didnt provide them with good roles. The background score is one more biggest drawback, which brings down the impact considerably. Venkys performance and a few emotional moments make the movie an okayish fare. Hence, it is advised to keep your expectations in check.(more)

Venkatesh film is utterly avoidable
This is a sort of John Wick-meets-Drushyam with a touch of medical thriller in a mythical city that may be inspired by Gotham city. The father we get to see in the beginning is not one awash in his daughters love, nor is he a repentant soul. He appears as if he is just waiting for the first push to get back to his old ways.(more)

Venkatesh's film drowns due to sluggish screenplay
Saindhav, with its interesting premise, could have ended up as a fulfilling entertainer had it offered some interesting ideas.(more)

Venkatesh's desi John Wick is decent, but it's Nawazuddin Siddiqui who steals the show
Saindhav is not a bad film by any means, its not the kind of film where you find everything unbearable. But its also not the kind of film where anything sticks with you long after its done. Sailesh, as a director, is capable of more. The films music by Santhosh Narayanan is also a hit-and-miss. While some portions of the background score leave a mark, the soundtrack is mostly a miss. Arya, Jisshu Sengupta, Mukesh Rishi and others get roles that dont leave a mark. This is a film thats strictly okay.(more)
