Ayushmann and Amitabh's simple,'antique' show with fairly interesting elements!

Ayushmann and Amitabh perform well in this irony based, drama - comedy film with an emotion driven layer. However, if you are expecting pure entertainment, this could not be your weekend flick as the entire picture has a slow-ish pace to it. If you are ready to sink in with the patience required, en...(more)

Amitabh Bachchan Is A Hoot, Ayushmann Khurrana Hits The Right Notes

The best thing about Gulabo Sitabo, scripted by Juhi Chaturvedi, is that it isn't trying to be a scream. The humour springs from the language and the manner of its delivery. It won't have you rolling on the floor. But it will elicit mild chuckles every time Mirza (Bachchan) and Baankey Rastogi (Ayus...(more)

Kooky, cheeky, quaint and utterly delightful

In director Shoojit Sircar's Gulabo Sitabo, written by Juhi Chaturvedi, the duo can be viewed either as a metaphor for perennially-sparring Lucknow in which the story is set, or as a literal allusion to its warring leading men. (more)

A good reality based film which makes you smile and laugh. I found it better than October. Shoojit Sircar is definitely a capable director. Amitabh Bachchan was great. Only problem in this film was the pacing which was slow. (more)
