Dhanusu Raasi Neyargalae

A usual rom-com that could have had a better play using its superstitious sentiments.

A couple of noteworthy scenes include the telescope scene between Harish and Digangana and the pre-climax portions that have some mother-son emotions to hold the audience. But apart from these parts, a large part of the entire film falls flat and there seems barely an impactful writing. If for a slightly less guessable screenplay, maybe the romantic comedy genre would have worked better to aid the astrological backdrop. Even Ghibrans music does not take off to his usual best peaks. An outdated romantic comedy!

The basic crux of Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale certainly sounds interesting but sadly, everything looks outdated. The entire first half, does not have a single comedy scene and the usually funny Munishkanth is wasted. The film has Yogi Babu who narrates the entire story but again no laughs. Being a romantic comedy genre, there is not even a single good comedy scene. (more)

A prediction gone horribly wrong

Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale is a film whose lead actors and the director-cum-writer require lessons - in how not to suffocate the audience. Perhaps, the film would have worked as a television skit in a comedy programme. Maybe then, the atrocity would have been over in 10 minutes or less. And if you still want to take on the challenge of watching this: Good luck and Godspeed!(more)

An old-fashioned uninteresting romantic drama that couldn't be saved by any Raasi!

The treatment is very old-fashioned and the protagonist realizing his mistake after one dramatic incident is not convincing. The film could have escaped with a solid packaging and an engaging screenplay.(more)
