Director Cheran has done a magnificent job. There are many nice, life-like scenes in the film. Cheran keeps the film under his command all the time. The star cast is not that famous. But Cheran proves his mettle through his first-rate directorial skills, making the best use of the actors and actresses. Undoubtedly, the story-cum-screenplay is the hero of the film. (more)

A movie to be encouraged.

Strong storyline, neat screenplay, clear characterization, powerful dialogue and slick, confident direction - the new package from Cheran who is responsible for all the above, has all these and much more. The dialogue is a striking aspect of the light scenes too. Pandavar Bhoomi has to be welcomed, with open arms because decent, meaningful cinema deserves encouragement. (more)
