Equal doses of fun and emotions
Sammohanam is a simple love story that has been showcased in an engaging manner. Beautiful emotions, sparkling chemistry between the lead pair are major assets. However, the classy narration and slow pace may not go well with a section of the audience. If you are okay with the above said things, this movie surely ends up an interesting watch for all those who like sensible love stories. Go for it.(more)

Aditi Rao Hydari, Sudheer Babu are terrific in this simple, sweet love story
There are plenty of reasons why you should watch Sammohanam. Call it a perfect date movie or an emotional romantic journey, there is very little doubt that Indraganti Mohan Krishna is on top of his game this time. It is amazing what watching a well-made romantic film can do to your mood and I realised what a joy it is to watch a film which makes you want to believe in miracles. Maybe love is just lying down on the terrace and gazing at the stars with Vivek Sagar's soothing background score running in your mind. If that is not possible, Sammohanam is the next best thing you can watch. Two big thumbs up.(more)

Aditi Rao Hydari and Sudheer Babu's film works in parts
Sammohanam has its 'magical' moments, especially in the scenes where Vijay's family try to lift each other up during their trying times. Aditi and Sudheer also strike an interesting chemistry. Look for their scene together on a rain-soaked terrace. But, the film falls short of rising above its own limitations. It is likely because of the weak spots in Sameera's character.(more)

Union of two worlds
Sammohanam is still a director's film, it's fair to say Mohana Krishna Indraganti's filmmaking sensibilities could make him a Hrishikesh Mukherjee of the south. Composer Vivek Sagar betters himself over Pelli Choopulu, cinematographer P G Vinda contributes his bit in making this a visual feast while Tanikella Bharani, Harshini, Hari Teja and Pavithra Lokesh come up with assured performances.(more)
