Lacklustre outing

There is a whole lot of issues with the film. The very first scene is about how medical negligence costs the life of the hero's father. For such an important scene we absolutely feel no emotion. An average entertainer that could have been better with an engaging story and screenplay.

Suseenthiran's usual strengths - interesting screenplay and subtle messages have been played to, in Nenjil Thunivirundhal too, but they seem to lack punch. Overall, the movie is engaging, albeit in parts, and strives to be a riveting, edge-of-the-seat action thriller. (more)
