A small film that warrants some attention
The only real time the film struggles is in the second half when it attempts comedy by impersonating a psychologically disturbed person for someone else. This portion does not click, simply sticks out and to make matters worse, it is quite long. But the climax works and the film does redeem itself quite well. For a small film, NPNET is competently made with absolutely no compromise. It has no romance.Hold on! It actually has no female character!!!(more)

A successful crowd funded film
Dinesh Selvaraj and his dad legendary writer Selvaraj have written the story. The novelty of the film is that there�s no female characters and neither a duet/item song, nor boozing scenes, which are normally associated with such films. The problem with the screenplay is that it lacks depth and even a tauter presentation could have helped. Music by Navin and Beon is functional and cinematography done in available natural light by Bhagath Singh is laudable.(more)

Go for it if only to encourage a crowd funded experimental film with made minimum resources.
Dinesh Selvaraj making his directorial debut has attempted to give a non-linear crime thriller, but has sadly not focused on the fact that a strong script and well etched characters can bring out the best performances from his cast and also engage the viewer. Better luck next time.(more)
