Action unlimited.

Despite the much-used storyline, Sandakozhi makes for compelling viewing, thanks to Lingusamy's adroit direction and smart acting front the main cast. The gritty action and the seamless script keep you interested all through. Linguswamy has also been well supported by technical crew led by Yuvan and Jeeva-Nirav (cameramen). Kanal Kannan's action sequences are a major highlight. Lingusamy has lived up to the promise; he is one director who is comfortable with both action and sentiments. Sandakozhi is a good example of that.(more)

Racy, paisa-vasool entertainer.

Lingusamy lives up to his reputation as a director who makes racy, action packed family entertainers with his new release Sandakozhi. It is well-packaged film without any big stars or unwanted sentiments. Technically, the film is slick with good music by Yuvan and outstanding camerawork by Jeeva and Nirav Shah. Vishal has improved leaps and bounds from Chellamae days and he is convincing. Meera Jasmine shows her superb timing for comedy. The action scenes have been superbly choreographed by Kanal Kannan.
