Yes. Indeed, it is!!!

Bongu is a difficult film to sit through and ends up as one tiring watch. The title of the film should pretty much double up as the bottomline of the film review too. (more)

Bongu Movie Review

Bongu is a harmless entertainer with a few engaging moments. A tightly-packed screenplay could have made it a much more interesting watch.(more)

A heist film that fails to steal us

The film are the car chase sequences, and Gopi Krishna's editing through which he has managed to make the film racy at parts. Ramdoss's comedy scenes provoke laughter at places, and Chaams has done a decent job with his minuscule role which leads up to a rib-tickling moment. The film has tried to ride on the wave of Sathuranga Vettai's success, and to those who expect Bongu to be similar, please read the film's title once again. (more)

Put the brakes on

The writing for most part is pedestrian and the actors rarely light up a scene. Bongu is barely watchable.(more)

Entertaining but lacks jaw-dropping displays

Bongu is by nature a high-tempo film and this means the viewers don't have to be bogged down by slow, meandering scenes. Of course, most Kollywood flicks have the obligatory songs that break up this tempo unnecessarily and Bongu is no different.(more)
