Passable with some good fun

Last week we had Appa which had good things to say about a boy with a stunted growth. In a scene in Dhiluku Dhuddu, Santhanam mocks at someone similar comparing him to a vavval (bat). Could hear a few laughs in the auditorium to this reference. Art impacting society has been the hot topic in social media for the past few days. I was wondering what would be the take away for someone who watched both these films. After an indifferent start, Dhiluku Dhuddu gets into top gear for a while and ends up as a passable outing on the whole. (more)

Works In Parts!

Barring the first half and scenes involving Shanaya, Dhilluku Dhuddu is a neat entertainer with loads of laugh-out-loud moments. (more)

Reel Vs Real ghost!

The concept is good, the screenplay minus the first half is good, Santa is at his level best and so is the content. 'Dhilluku Dhuddu' will certainly tickle your funny bone, but all you need to do is wait till unfolds in the second, if you have the patience.(more)

A decent one time watch that manages to make the audience laugh out loud at many places.

Though director Rambhala has prior experience in writing and directing TV Shows, this is his first feature film as a director. He has solely concentrated on making the audience laugh and has succeeded in that. His dialogues are worth mentioning, but the laughter moments are comparatively less in the first half of the movie. One might feel that the director could have worked more on the story and comedy portions which could have rendered a better feel about the movie.(more)
