Surya is sincere.

The story may not be the most new, but the scenes have raciness and keep you interested. Surya too keeps you riveted to the seats with another wholesome effort. Trisha has nothing much to do. Ashish Vidyarthi goes over the top time and again. Vadivelu's comedy is predictably patterned. Devi Sri Prasad suits the mood and metaphors of the movie. Hari has a way with mass entertainers.(more)

Watch, its great fun!

Aaru is an out-and-out entertainer. Director Hari, known for his knack of making action films has done it again. Priyan, wielding the camera, has done a good work too. Devi Sri Prasad's music is needless to say, great. Suriya is a versatile actor and Trisha's bubbly self adds sparkle to the team. The first half of the film seems to drag a little but the second half more than makes up for it with nail-biting thrills and action. Aaru is sure to be a sixer!(more)
