Visual delight, amazing performances but a confused storyline

In all, the movie definitely deserves a one-time watch though it is not an exceptional piece of cinema like other Vishal Bhardwaj's film.(more)

Kangana-Shahid-Saif ace in a gorgeous-looking film

Vishal Bhardwaj, caught with the duty to serve two movies in one (an old-school romance and a war thriller), doesn't really do a Casablanca though he does give Rangoon his best shot. Nevertheless, Rangoon comes off as probably 2017's most good-looking and well-made Indian film. Certainly, this year'...(more)

Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor are perfect fits

Modelled on stunt queen Fearless Nadia, Ranauts is the stand-out performance. Rangoon Movie Review: Much Kangana Ranaut, Such Wow

Rangoon is wholeheartedly recommended but with a rider: it isn't a stroll in the park because it demands patience and concentration. It definitely helps that the cinematography (by Pankaj Kumar) is so lustrous that you simply cannot take your eyes off the screen.(more)

Rangoon Review

RANGOON is an epic love saga with strong emotional quotient, riveting second hour and nail-biting finale. Watch it for its layered plot, serpentine twists, proficient storytelling and bravura performances. A content-driven film that's worth a recommendation!(more)
