Director Adam Dasan's writing has been uneven as his narration falls flat at places, and wanders around, without knowing where to move about. He could�ve been clearer on what he wanted, and concentrated solely on that. But the director knows the knack of connecting to audience's emotions, and the scenes pertaining to that work well.(more)

A watchable action thriller

Paambhu Sattai's another biggest strength is Ajeesh's music, be it songs or background score, the newcomer steals the show and KG Venkatesh's too has authentically captured the outskirts of Chennai city. To conclude, Paambhu Sattai is definitely a better heroic film of Bobby Simha, a watchable action thriller!(more)

Paambhu Sattai Movie Review

The romantic track is regressive. In fact, when Dakshina lays his eyes on Veni for the first time (she is, of course, helping someone on the road), all he can think of is to go and kiss her on the lips! And he does that a few scenes later, when he gets irritated by her friends' teasing! The pacing, too, suffers because these portions go on and on that we want to yell, 'Just get on with the story' at the screen. And the developments in the second half feel less organic and more a function of the plot, which makes us question the plausibility of the events.(more)
