Some Mindless Fun

Rajesh is possibly running an unofficial film series without a sequel tag attached. From SMS to VSOP the template is almost the same save a few minor tweaks.(more)

Forget the Logic and Laugh Out Loud

The film heavily banks on Santhanam on expected lines and we have to say that the man carries the film in his shoulders though it may sound clichd. One line punches, counters, Kalaais (jibes) and what not? The film is throughout filled with whatever one would expect of Santahnam especially when he joins with his lucky director Rajesh. The duo has regained the magic and heavily compensates for the disappointment caused by 'Azhaguraja'.(more)

A Passable flick

While the first half is breezy and makes you genuinely laugh, its second counter part gets a little edgy as it largely reminds you of Rajesh's previous movies. Having said that, VSOP is definitely better than All in All Azhagu Raja.(more)

VSOP - Rajesh, Santhanam and Arya come up with a fun, mindless comedy movie in a template they are expert at.

VSOP is a typical Rajesh entertainer, very well supported by Arya, Santhanam, Tamannaah and Vidyu. While Arya and Tamannaah make supremely energetic features, Santhanam and Vidyu fill every nook and corner of the film with quality humour. (more)
