A comedy film where most scenes actually challenge you to 'laugh if you can'.

Suraj probably rented out the Time Machine from the recent 'Indru Nettru Naalai' and took the entire crew back to the late 80s and 90s. Excuse the cast and the film can easily pass off as a film from those periods. But it would still be a mediocre film from that era. The entire film is an assortment of mostly bad and few bearable scenes. Not sure if anyone from the cast and crew had any clue as to how the movie was shaping up. The movie could have very well focused on 'Taming the Shrew' part alone. This is actually the crux of the film. But nothing much happens around this. (more)

Despite its intentions, this Sakalakalavallavan doesn't entertain

There are more cliches like the customary fight sequence, a foreign song and an item number involving Poorna. In the end, the director seems to have a message about husband - wife tiffs, along with all the comedy. A run time of more than 2 hours 30 mins isn't helpful too. (more)
