TEOA - A Great Signal for TFI

The film shines with it's simplicity in humour. You never laugh really hard but a constant grin is fixed on your face throughout. The scenes involving Sathish's lost phone even if a bit stretched work well. So many nuances are neatly depicted throughout.(more)

Average

Debut director Ramprakash Rayappa's Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum is based on geo-magnetic storm and its aftermath in Chennai city. Interestingly, the director has done his paper work with sheer perfection and packaged this out-of-the-box concept in a fairly engaging manner.(more)

Lighthearted thriller loaded with logic

Tamiluku En Ondrai Aluthavum is a movie heavily loaded with science, told in as light a mood as possible. There is comedy for those who want to chill out and science for those who are curious.(more)

The opening minutes of the intriguingly titled Thamizhukku Enn Ondrai Azhuthavum hint at one of those films thats so out of the box that the box is here and the film is on the moon. While our big-name filmmakers refuse to budge from formula, we look towards newcomers to take us someplace well, new...(more)

Great idea but low on excitement

A superbly refreshing plot about how a solar flareup impedes mobile telephone services pushes Tamiluku En Ondrai Aluthavum (Press One For Tamil) into the realm of good cinema. First-time director and writer, Ramprakash Rayappa weaves four different stories into what threatens to spin into a tragedy.(more)
