Thalaimuraigal - A Class Apart
The entire film seems like a candid camera that follows it's principal characters. Even the dialogues are so non filmi. While the idea of the film is the importance of preserving our roots it also does not forget to emphasize that the elderly too have a lot to learn from the youngsters.(more)

An artistic piece of parallel cinema.
A visit to Thalaimuraigal will be a cleansing trip for all those excursions that we have taken hitherto in the name of cinema. And when you come out of theatre, you sure want to go, give your grandfather a big tight hug! (more)
