KADHALIL VIZHUNTHEN

Worth a watch.

The winner of this game, is P V Prasad, he manages to spin a unique storyline. There are several plot-holes though. The second half also could have been trimmed to be more effective. The violence too seems unnecessary. Kadhalil Vizhundhen achieves at least in part, what other love-stories fail to do - to bring a genuine lump in your throat at times. (more)

For the youth, by the youth...

The theme of Kadhalil Vizhundhen is not something very novel, but the director has taken care that things do not get boring at any point of time. Nakul looks perfect hero material, be it in the songs, fights or scenes. Camera and editing have done a world of good to the movie. But the single largest factor here seems to be Vijay Antony who has simply turned it on with his musical score.(more)

The highlight of the film is the peppy music of Vijay Antony. Among the performers, Nakul is riveting. Sunaina is adequate for her role, Sampath is impressive and Livingstone is good. Vijay Milton's camera is eye catching. On the whole the happenings in the film are extremely illogical, labored and utterly unconvincing. At best you can sit through the first half, post-interval it is torturous. (more)

Worth a watch.

The film-maker has passed out in flying colors and deserves credit for going about his work in a professional manner. The end product, through gory and violent, leaves an impact with the audience. With a lesser known star cast, director Prasad has managed to weave a sequence of some interesting and catchy sequences. Though a predictable storyline, the neat performance from the star cast, racy background of Vijay Anthony and brisk cinematography by Vijay Milton keeps us glued to the seats.(more)

Interesting!

Writer-director P.V.Prasad, who makes his bow with 'Kadhalil ...' has worked hard on the story and screenplay. It's redundant to comment on composer Vijay Antony's hit piece. Strong roles have come the lead pair's way. With ample scope to showcase an entire gamut of emotions, the two turn up trumps. The inspiration could be from anywhere, it's the strength of the story and its treatment that matter - areas where maker Prasad scores. (more)
