Director Vikram Sugumaran should be a man who is extremely confident of what he is doing and this is quite evident with the amount of clarity in MYK. Right from the start there is an undercurrent of tension which reaches it's crescendo towards the climax(more)

A decent but familiar attempt on rural bloodlust and ego clashes
Though MYK has a few tense and gripping sequences, the milieu is something which we have seen in plenty of celebrated movies in the recent past. And violent scenes, actions and language don�t make it suitable for viewers of all ages. Still with all its drawbacks, Vikram Sugumaran�s debut isn�t a bad watch overall.(more)
