Nedunchalai - This Highway is a road less travelled

Krishna�s treatment is something new and raw. Most of the central characters have a streak of eccentricity about them. While the basic concept of how when an outlaw tries to rectify himself the misdeeds of his past will not leave him in peace is not something novel, the ambience where he has set these characters is what sets Nedunchalai apart. A watch worthy movie that has picturesque photography and some good acting on offer.

Although the movie has a few goodies to offer, it lacks those moments that can blow you over. The film is a simple two and a half hour travel on a long highway that doesn�t have too many twists, turns or humps that your eyes might want to look out for. (more)

Nedunchalai - Long and Winding

Sathya has brought his genius to the forth yet again. Story in all is rather surprising in each frame, considering the difference that the nuances carry, but disappointingly, the end is predictable. Further, for the concept pictured, the film is a tad too long a run, rendering the 'Nedunchalai' an exhaustively extensive spread of entertainment.(more)

Tarpaulin Murugan is a feared name on the highway near Periyakulam, as he steals goods from lorries plying on the route. Sparks fly between Masanimuthu, the crooked new cop who has come to the place, and Murugan, and their hostility increases after they cross swords over Manga, a young dhaba owner. (more)
