Anushka who is a busy bee in south has done a cameo in Saguni amidst her tight schedules. Saguni is one of the most awaited political thriller starring Karthi, Praneetha, Santhanam in lead roles. The film has a big star cast including Radhika Sarathkumar, Nasser, Prakash Raj, Mumtaz, Kiran in pivotal roles. The film already having created hype, sizzling beauty Anushka is also set to keep the audience in splits with her cameo as a funny cop. The hot actress is buzzed to appear in a crucial scene and her crisp appearance would definitely be a highlight in the film.

Saguni is all ready to hit the screens on June 22. G.V. Prakash who has scored the music is busy with the Re-recording. The young composer had tweeted, "Saguni second half RR going on. Will make it on June 22. Film is very good. Karthi Santhanam comedy is a riot to watch. Film is directed by Shankar Dayal and produced by Dream Warriors.

Vijay who was shooting for an action sequence for Thuppakki had injured his knee while jumping from a height. The actor who is committed to his work had continued with the shoot and completed the action sequence planned for the day without minding his pain. Vijay is said to have had a minor injury and is in London for the treatment. He is reported to be doing well and would join the sets of Thuppaki soon.

The film is one of the most expected film which showcases Vijay in a completely different avatar. The film is expected to be wrapped soon with few songs and scenes left. The film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and music by Harris Jayaraj.

Rain disrupts shooting

Thandavam shooting is happening in London with Vikram, Jagapathi Babu, Santhanam, Amy Jackson, Nasser and Lakshmi Rai in full swing. The team is planning to wrap up the shooting by June 15 and is working hard day and night to complete the schedule on time. Major portions of the film involving action packed sequences are being shot here. However, nature seems to disrupting the plan. Heavy rains is said to have hampered the progress of the film. An important scene couldn't be shot as planned due to rain. The makers are praying for good weather to finish within deadline.

Vishal dumps Lingusamy's film?

Vishal was buzzed to play the lead for 'Engeyum Eppothum' fame Saravanan's next film to be produced by Lingusamy. Eariler it was Arya who had opted out and Vishal was roped in instead. Buzz is a new script was readied by the director, but Arya's remuneration seemed too high for the director-producer. According to sources, Lingusamy is in the lookout for another hero for his film.

Pon Malai Pozhudu Trailer

Pon Malai Pozhudu marks the debut of Aadhav Kannadhasan, grandson of Kaviarasu Kannadhasan. Gayathri a new face plays the female lead. The film seems to be an adolescent love story and Aadav plays a school boy. The film is directed by debutant director A C Durai and music is scored by Sathya of Engeyum Eppothum fame. The audio of the film was recently launched by Kamal Haasan.
